Each painting in the Swansea Life Collection will depict an iconic Swansea landmark or scene. The first two in the commission, available now, are of the famous Joe's ice cream parlour and Verdi's in Mumbles. Other works in the series will depict landmarks such as the view of Swansea Bay from Pantycelyn on Bonfire Night, the Apple landmark on Mumbles headland, and the view of Morgans Hotel from the top of Wind Street.
Each painting encapsulates the essence of Swansea and what it means to live in this magical city by the sea. Nick Holly is well known for his depictions of the industrial east side of Swansea and the docks. This collection, through his interpretation of the city's best loved landmarks, captures the spirit of the city as a whole.
Just 50 limited edition signed prints of these first two paintings are available. Each limited edition print is available at £99 including VAT. Further paintings from the collection will be available in future issues of Swansea Life.
This is an exciting opportunity to own a piece of contemporary art by a local artist whose work is increasingly in demand globally. His scenes of New York have been especially sought after of late and are being sold for many times their original value.
Ideal as a Christmas present, investment or unique attraction in the home, this exclusive offer will not be available for long.
Just 50 prints of these first two paintings are being reproduced. Future prints of the collection can be pre-ordered by calling the number above or if you are interested in a specific number please call. These prints can also be viewed at Morgans Hotel, Swansea.
